I'm Ana, from Georgia. Currently doing voluntary work in Germany. In an organization working on global justice issues.
My passion for photography starts from early teenage years. First I found photography in my great grandfather's old darkroom, with chemicals, dust, expired films and many unknown people’s stories on the photos and tapes. That tiny room wasn't only a field with pictures but with decades of history, people, stories and frozen time.
Childhood dream, to have magic eyes to take pictures with, changed a face and I began experimenting with photography using everything from my first camera phone to friend’s iPhone to borrowed cameras. Mobile photography has been a significant part of my everyday life.
Over time, the desire to share what my heart and eyes see has only grown. Now, i shoot with my very own camera and I'm in the process of learning what I enjoy shooting more and how to achieve it with my camera.
Mainly, I enjoy capturing portraits of my loved ones, documenting everyday life, street stories - especially in black and white. And of course nature.
One of the things I want to do in future are working on documentary project and deepening my knowledge of photography and graphic design.
